Melissa performed improv theater on house teams at The Armory Comedy, and with indie teams TOWELS! and RSVP. She co-hosted The Shout Hooray! Show, a lively variety show for babies & toddlers. She also wrote and performed her own one-woman show Dorothy in Wonderland (a heartfelt exploration of adulthood, miscarriage, and self-worth) at The PIT's annual SOLOCOM festival in 2017. A graduate of The Barrow Group’s Professional Acting Conservatory, Melissa continues to pursue her craft across theater, voiceover, and musical improv. She performs regularly in Redshirts: the all-women Star Trek themed musical improv troupe, and can be seen improvising on stage with her little family in KidProv, a show for kids by kids and their improviser grownups. Known for her creativity and authenticity, she brings depth and humor to every project she undertakes. Melissa currently resides in Brooklyn, where she balances her creative pursuits with her love for crafting, family life, and a good cup of coffee.
