BIOGRAPHY:
Judith (Judy) Downey is a charismatic young actor, with a passion for musical theater. She began her musical education at age five with piano lessons, and now takes voice and flute lessons. She recently played the roles of Tessie, Apple Seller, Star to Be, and Mrs. Pugh in Annie, Jr, and the dual roles of the Baker and Cinderella's Prince in Into the Woods, Jr, both with Triple Threat Theatre. She is expanding her experience into film, with two recent roles in short films.
Judy is excited to join the cast of “A Musement Park” for the New York Theatre Festival.
EDUCATION / TRAINING:
Judy is a middle school student in Staten Island, New York, She attends musical theatre class at Triple Threat Theatre, and takes vocal and flute lessons with the Staten Island Conservatory of Music. She has also attended multiple workshops and intensives with Abeson Studios.
