This musical examines the changing relationship of lifelong
best friends, Pad & Pen, as they struggle to figure out
what went wrong with their friendship. As other characters
appear, the narrative interweaves the past and present,
grappling with sexuality, bullying, parental pressure,
figuring out who you are and where
you fit in as you grow up.
