During  the American Civil War, two black soldiers meet after a  battle in Gettysburg. Though they fight for opposing sides of the conflict,  both men realize they know each other and that fate has  allowed them to reconcile  an earlier event that shaped both of their journeys. Memories, pain, and love clash in the shadows of a blood-soaked battlefield.
