Inspired by the Republican Party mantra of “taking back” the country, this play is a brief interrogation of white supremacy. With music!
THIS PLAY IS 10 MINUTES LONG AND WILL BE PRESENTED IN THE SAME NIGHT/SHOW SLOT TOGETHER WITH ANOTHER 4 SHORT PLAYS. TOTAL RUNNING TIME OF ALL PLAYS TOGETHER = 60 MINUTES
Playwright’s Bio.
Cate’s work uses lyrical language to give voice to people often ignored in mainstream culture: women experiencing homelessness, older women, teen-agers, and lonely schlubs. She studied community-based theater at Cornerstone Theater Company and playwriting at the Kenyon Playwrights Conference, and her work has appeared in New York, Seattle, Denver, and points in between.
