Blurb
This play discusses our current political climate and how it affects schools and students of varying identities. Challenging the traditional form of theater by telling the story through another character as the narrator. To provide an inside look to how the characters are being affected. I’m taking on topics like colorism, conformity, LGBTQ+ rights and wrongs, and the responsibility of voting.

THIS IS A ONE-ACT PRODUCTION THAT WILL BE PERFORMED ALONGSIDE ANOTHER TWO ONE-ACT PRODUCTION WITHIN A 90-MINUTE TIME SPAN
Bio.
Drew Nova is an aspiring playwright currently studying at Marymount Manhattan College where they creates works surrounding various themes of politics, death, interpersonal warfare, etc. Their most recent play “In Loving Memory” was a featured staged reading at LaGuardia College. They hope to continue honing their craft through challenging different theater norms like structure and presentation.
