In 1974 I swept into NYC for a record deal. Twenty years later:
single-parenthood, nosediving into creating art and writing
children’s books. Until one day, in the hamster-wheel of my living-room,
tripping over manuscripts, I looked up at my Billboard Music awards,
then over at my Sisyphusian self-portrait, Drama of the Gifted Grownup.
A light-bulb moment! My show was born!
