What if WAITING FOR GODOT starred two mice puppets, and took place at the Staten Island ferry terminal? VERMIN is a story in which our two thickly accented mice, stoic Booksmart and hustling Fitzpatrick philosophically pontificate on who deserves the titular label, whilst interacting with New Yorkers who may or may not be able to understand them – before their sudden, unfair, mundane extermination.

Bio.
Peter Carellini is a filmmaker, SAG actor and writer based in NYC, and currently a poetry Pushcart Prize nominee for 2026. His photography and poems, short stories, and essays have been in publications including Travel + Leisure, Bruxelles Art Vue, and Mythos Magazine – while his directorial, no budget film debut “Hello, World!” had its public premiere at the Greenpoint Gallery in October 2021.
