An adult fairytale about grief, isolation, motherhood, and autonomy, Tilly Birdbones tells the story of a family’s final year with its youngest daughter, as recounted by the tutor who bore witness to her metamorphosis into a bird.

Bio.
Originally from Montreal, Canada, Leah Plante-Wiener (she/her) is a playwright in her final year in NYU Tisch’s dramatic writing program. Her writing is greatly informed by her multidisciplinary background in writing, notably in poetry. Her plays Marguerite and The Girls and Tilly Birdbones have been produced by the Broke People Play Festival.
