Blurb
THE THIN WHITE LINE is a story based on real events that deals with racism and white privilege in the NYPD. After a young white man is alleged to have wielded a gun threatening an Arab cabbie, who is a person of color, a white Detective shows his bias and sides with the suspect, and his actions leading to his release backfire when the young man shows his true colors and acts out in a deadly way.
THIS SHOW IS 30 MINUTES LONG
THIS IS A ONE ACT PLAY THAT WILL BE PERFORMED WITH ANOTHER ONE ACT WITHIN A 90 MINUTE TIME SPAN
Bio.
Richard R Barbour & Joseph R Barbour are a father & son writing team. Rich is a member of The Dramatists Guild & WGAE and has worked with Philip Seymour Hoffman & Sam Rockwell at the NY Theater Wkshop. He’s directed off Bway and authored several plays and screenplays with his son Joe who attended The High School of Performing Arts. He has also acted in several films and off Bway plays.
