Blurb
The Squeal follows the journey of Leo and Maria, an immigrant couple from Mexico pursuing a better life in the United States. Leo works at Bishop Pork, a pork processing plant, while Maria is involved with the church. Their lives are filled with hope and dreams for a brighter future. However, it all takes a turn when Leo’s coworker Francesco, an undocumented immigrant, mysteriously disappears.

Bio.
Jake Tammara has been pursuing his passion for playwriting in the city of New York for the past two years, before that he spent time honing his craft in Philadelphia. His intention is to explore the profound emotional journey of the characters, portraying their dreams, hopes and aspirations, while also shedding light on the challenges they face in a society that often marginalizes them.
