Two young Orthodox Jews, Miri and Jacob, meet at a Passover retreat hotel and must navigate their burgeoning relationship while observing the Jewish concept of shomer negiah. Shomer negiah translates to “guarding against touch”, meaning that unmarried couples refrain from physical contact. The play follows Miri and Jacob as they grapple with their feelings for each other, their relationships with their families, and their faith.
