Bio.
Genara Necos is a retired civil rights attorney. She published a short cultural piece in March Magazine, and in Collateral Magazine, an essay about wanting to leave New York after George Floyd’s murder. The latter essay was nominated for the Pushcart Prize. She lives in the Bronx, where she grew up.
