Lubin, Poland, 1950: Two Jewish childhood friends come back to their hometown six years after escaping the Holocaust. They are in their early twenties and currently live in Haifa”. In addition to coming back to a place with which they have lost all familiarity, Gershon and Mendel will dissect memories of the war and unravel secrets that could change their friendship forever.
THE PLAY IS 45 MINUTES LONG AND WILL BE PRESENTED TOGETHER WITH ANOTHER PLAY IN THE SAME NIGHT/SHOW TIME.
Playwright’s Bio.
Clara Grusq is a Paris-born visual and performance artist based in New York. She is currently a student at the New School, College of Performing Arts. She has directed and stage-managed numerous hybrid theatrical productions in Los Angeles and NYC. Her synthesized practice weaves together text, movement, and fine arts.
