Bio.
Yakira Muhammad is a screenwriter and playwright from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. A graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in Journalism, she is passionate about uncovering and crafting culturally rich narratives. Raised in the Nation of Islam, Yakira often explores themes of social justice and community through her work. Her writing spans drama, horror, and lighthearted dramedies.
