THE IDEALIST presents a unique take, a slightly twisted one, to the long debated question – is man good or evil by nature.
The main character in the play, will fight to prove us wrong, to prove that man is good, or at least is capable of change. But by doing so, they will learn just how evil man can be. Leaving us battling with one last question – can hope be strong enough to make a difference?

Bio.
Aya Bogod is a director and a filmmaker, currently in her final year at NYU, where she attended Playwrights Horizons & Stonestreet Studio. Originally from Israel, Aya served two years as a producer & theater director in the military before moving to NYC. Since, she’s also worked on shows such as The X-Factor Israel and Unorthodox.
