The Art of Training A Goldfish explores the complicated relationship of Mikhail Bulgakov, a Ukrainian born writer, satirist and former medical doctor, with the rise of Soviet power, the purges of Stalin, and the space an artist lives between imagination and reality.

Bio.
Nicole Colbert is a director/choreographer, writer and educator whose artistic inquiry explores the absurd and the beautiful in the human experience. She is trained in movement: modern, jazz, ballet and improvisation, and in theatre (HB Studio). She has created a system of movement for actors that draws on her background in dance with principles of LeCoq, Stanislavski and Gaga to unearth movement for character development.
