Bio.

PLAYWRIGTH

Reisha Mirit is a Scottish born aspiring playwright and actor who studied with The Barrow Group in New York City.
She credits her years of Improv training and quick wit in giving her the ability to access her brain’s humorous shenanigans thus allowing her to delve into the world of comedic playwrighting. Likes to write hilariously awkward scenes. A lot. Sunny Side up is Reisha’s debut one act play.

DIRECTOR

Ashendri Picon is a director, actor, and writer based in New York City. Most recently, she co-directed an anthology, The Compendium of Death, which had a four show run at Brooklyn Art Haus, and her first short film about two friends reconnecting in more ways than one is currently in post-production. Ashendri studies at The Barrow Group (TBG) and is thrilled that Sunny Side UP has found its way here!

ACTOR

Rylie Butzbaugh-Patrick is a Brooklyn-based actor and producer. Graduated with her BFA in Acting from Shenandoah Conservatory. Film credits include CUPID FOR CHRISTMAS (Hulu), THE PLACES THAT I’VE BEEN (Independent Short, Chicago), JULES AND DEE (Independent Short, NYC) which premiered at the NYC Indie Film Festival. Recent NY theatre credits include QUEER LIAISONS, at the historic Off-Broadway Cherry Lane Theatre.

ACTOR

Simon James Gibson is an NYC based actor with a B.A. in Theatre. He’s trained at the UCB, The Barrow Group and the Strasberg Institute. His credits span film, theater, TV, and digital media, including GIPHY’s “The Vibe is Right” and roles in short films like “The Actor”. He is also an accomplished musician.
