Blurb

Bio.
1975 through 2017, taught Comp Lit & German @ a cluster of universities including Johns Hopkins, SUNY-Buffalo, Rutgers, & lastly, Yale (2002-17). Frankfurt School (Benjamin, Adorno, Horkheimer, et. al.)–major ongoing pursuit. 12 self-authored books on modernism, critical theory, aesthetics, etc. Latest: The Great Dismissal: Memoir of Cultural Demolition-Derby, 2015-22 (Bloomsbury, 2023).
