In total lockdown, New York is a ghost town in 2020 during Covid. Two friends are speaking on their cellphones. They share their fears of being single and alone. Both are drinking too much but MaryAnn has hope, Sara does not. MaryAnn tells Sara to remember the good times, Sara says she is frightened. MaryAnn begs her not to hang up. She screams Sara’s name but there is only silence.

Bio.
Kathleen Kaan is a native New Yorker. She studied at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and worked extensively in regional theater. Her play “Teddy’s Doll House” had a successful staged reading at the Cherry Lane Theatre. Two plays, “Lost & Found” and “Remember” were featured in the Virtual Arts Festival March 2022. FlowerSong Press will publish “Remember” this Spring.
