Blurb
In Prairie Fire Randal McHaney explores the intersection between two teenage boys and the self-delusion of a spiritual leader in a small West Texas town. The trajectory quickly becomes deadly for Doug, who is just at the beginning of self-discovery. Jimmy, his best friend, and Jimmy’s mother Darlene and Bea an older woman with her own demons all defend him against the town, but at what cost.

Bio.
Randal McHaney’s plays include Fabrics, Pay for Love, Texas Gothic, Frankie, Wastland Texas, Stay Calm. The Quilt produced at Roy Arias Studios, Ruminations produced at HB Studio, Cracks at HB Studio. Randal is a member of the Dramatist Guild, and K/Q Playwrights in NYC. Randal grew up in West Texas and has a BS from Rutgers University and studied playwrighting at HB Studio. He lives in NYC.
