BIOGRAPHY:
Tessie Herrasti, a Mexican-born actress, writer, and filmmaker based in New York City, is renowned for her multifaceted artistic endeavors and impactful social initiatives. Her career has spanned stages and screens in prominent global cities such as Mexico City, Paris, Los Angeles, Sydney, and New York. Tessie is the creator and writer of the award-winning pilot "Jewels of Light," which delves into themes of global connection, unity, and empowerment. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from The National Dramatic Art Conservatory in Mexico City, along with a Master's in Conflict Resolution and Drama Therapy Studies, as well as a Social-Emotional Arts Certification. Continuing her acting training in New York, Tessie is committed to leveraging drama for mental health awareness and social change, making significant contributions to the expressive arts community worldwide.
