Susan Courtney is a professional actor, playwright, and director. This is Susan's third time performing with New York Theatre Festival. Others included: Bruce Dalziel's "Technical Difficulties" & Howard Lipsom's "Thirty Days". Recently, Susan performed in her play,
"Where No Woman Has Gone Before" in AND Theatre Company's Illusion/Confusion One-Act Festival as well as in the Secret Theatre's Act One, One Act Festival (Won Award for Semi-Finalist). At the Actors Theater Playhouse In New Hampshire, Susan's play "Waiting For The Train, is currently being performed in their 10 Minute Play Festival. "Girl In Blue Armchair", Susan's 5 character play about Mary Cassatt is also being considered for production. Having recently traveled to Ireland to do research for her screenplay, "John In Connemara" (based on the Irish poet, John O'Donohue), Susan is thrilled to work with Bruce on this iconic Irish play!
