BIOGRAPHY:
Norlette “Lu Nikx” Nichols, named playfully after the moon is a recording artist, songwriter, dancer, actress, and model hailing from Brooklyn, NY. She is very passionate about the performing arts. She is a Pop/R&B/Dancehall artist, and she creates music from her ongoing curiosity with the world of metaphysics (i.e energy and frequency) and morphs her conclusions about it into language that can be interpreted through feeling or a mood by the listener. Being of Caribbean heritage, she was exposed to reggae, soca, and dancehall music at an early age. She was heavily influenced by her early memories of her dad songwriting in the living room. Being a dancer first, she has found a myriad of ways to translate how she likes to express herself within the dance art form through songwriting/story telling for self and other artists, vocal production on recordings, modeling/posing, and acting.
