BIOGRAPHY:
Luna Valbuena is a Latina actress based in New York, working across theatre, television, voice over and film. She recently appeared in the international television series Ana de Nadie and has been part of a variety of independent projects that highlight her versatility and passion for performance. Alongside her acting, Luna has also produced independent films, and worked as a screenwriting assistant, an experience that has deepened her appreciation for storytelling and the collaborative process. She is delighted to be returning to the stage with this production and looks forward to sharing this work with the festival's audience.
EDUCATION / TRAINING:
Luna's training started from a very young age back in Bogotá, Colombia, training in voice, contemporary dance, ballet, and music. She moved to study musical theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. She also trained in voice over and began working in dubbing to Spanish shortly after graduation. She recently graduated from New York Film Academy's Filmmaking conservatory.
