BIOGRAPHY:
Leah Del Rosario is a Filipina-American actor, singer, and movement artist who recently graduated from Boston University School of Theatre with a BFA in Acting. She is insatiably curious and has always had a fascination with the human condition: our extremities, complex relationships, and universal truths. In the theatre, she found a community of people asking the same questions.
Leah has performed in and collaborated on various productions including Let the Right One In as Eli (Actor’s Shakespeare Project), Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again. (BU), Troilus and Cressida (LAMDA), and Orlando (BU). She was the movement captain for a choreopoem production of Lorca’s Yerma, where she was honored to work closely with highly acclaimed movement director Yo-El Cassell. She was also trusted to participate in the creation and development of the new works Priscilla by Edward Sturm, and The Corruption of Morgana Pendragon by Mckayla Witt, which both had their world premiere on BU’s mainstage.
Leah spent her time in college dipping her toe in all of her interests—playwriting, movement composition, directing, acting, and music. She fell in love with travel and Shakespeare/classical texts after completing the Programme in Classical Acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) in the spring of 2023.
Leah is a strong believer in wonder, embracing fear, keeping her plants alive, and 90% dark chocolate!
