Lane McLeod Jackson is an actor, writer, director, and (unless you hear differently) human who has worked professionally in New York, New Jersey, and Ireland. Since he returned to performance in 2021 he's been cast regularly in short film and theatre pieces including the off-broadway production of "And Then There Were None" and the award-winning, Caprices.
He's also the artistic director of Noir Theatre, Dunvegan-Productions, and Chrysalis Staging. He worked with The Sara & Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center touring two stage adaptations of survivors' memoirs to local public schools. He is also the co-writer to the 2017 independent film "Another Time." He worked from 2011-2017 as the Creative Director of Dark Star Pirate Cruises. In 2018 his full-length environmental parable The Promised Land made its New York debut. His "Devil Verses Fisherman" one act- Kingfish won the 2023 Frigid Fringe Festival "Best Play in a Boat." It was a fearsome competition. It also debuted to excellent reviews.
