BIOGRAPHY:
Khairi has been acting since he was a baby, where he appeared in episodes of Law & Order SVU. He began to be interested in musical theater in elementary school, where he was able to play Simba from the Lion King and Daddy Warbucks from Annie. He continued to be in several other musicals, from 13 the musical to Masquerade. At the Imperial Center he has performed in Seussical and Fairtytale. Acting has brought him so much joy that he has decided to continue to study it in college. He is currently a rising junior in the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, working to obtain his BFA. At NYU he has performed in a production of Bye Bye Birdie as Harvey Johnson and a production of As You Like It as Oliver. Khairi loves performing in new works that tell unique stories, which is why he is extra honored and overjoyed to be given the opportunity to participate in the festival! In his free time, Khairi enjoys playing video games and hanging out with friends and family. Instagram: @khairi.agie
