BIOGRAPHY:
Joshua Piper is a Senior Theatre Performance Major at Wagner College on Staten Island, but is originally from Katy, Texas. He’s an actor and a playwright as well as a part of the LGBTQ+ and Asian communities. He was seen in Wagner College’s “The Other Shore” (The Father) directed by Theresa McCarthy and "Cabaret" (Kit Kat Klub Boy) directed by Andrew Grant-Linden. His plays "Place of Departure or (The Airport Play)", "A Playlist for the Summer", and "People You Meet On Your Daily Commute" was presented for the Wagner College Stage One 2022-23 season as "The Vehicles That Brought Me Here". “Place of Departure…” was then produced at the wild project, which he also performed in, and another play of his “10-72 Fire In Progress” premiered at The Tank.

Wagner College Theatre Performance Class of 2024 Acting: Michele Pawk, Theresa McCarthy, Susan Fenley, Amy Williams, and Audition Intensives with Annaleigh Ashford and Delius Doherty. Voice: Voice Lessons from Winkie Ballas Jamail, Elizabeth McCullough, and Anthony Turner Dance: Jazz-Carissa Bellando, Elliot Keller, Ballet-Samuel “Rusty” Curcio, Tap-Emily Jeanne Phillips and John Scachetti, Musical Theatre Dance-John Scachetti

SPECIAL SKILLS:
Plays Alto, Soprano, Tenor Saxophone, intermediate piano, and beginner guitar. Highly conversational in American Sign Language, basic Korean, a d-list Jennifer Coolidge and Natalie Portman Impression, and can do a 10 minute stand up routine at the drop of a hat. Dialects: Cockney, German, and Southern.
