BIOGRAPHY:
Josh is a native NYer (Manhattan born, Westchester raised) who, like so many others, fell in love with acting at a young age. But he did it at Shakespeare camp because he has always been a massive nerd. In addition to being an actor, Josh also draws upon his Jewish heritage as a community organizer in the field of immigrant labor justice, particularly on behalf of street vendors. He likes alligators, cats, holiday kitsch, and cooking curry for friends. Recent credits include MATAWAN at Atlantic Theater's Stage 2; multiple cycles of SERIALS at The Tank; Hell's Half-Acre, a short film about real life serial killer family, The Bloody Benders; and a number of staged readings: Here I Am, at The Rat; Goodnight, Mrs. Calabash, at Theater for the New City; Havurah with The Interstitial; and Will You Let Me In?, with PlayGround NYC.

EDUCATION / TRAINING:
Brown University, A.B. in Classics and Slavic Studies; Atlantic Acting School, Full-Time Conservatory

SPECIAL SKILLS:
butoh, Suzuki/Viewpoints, Grotowski, Lucid Body; rowing, boxing; familiarity with French, Russian, and Spanish; eating dairy
