BIOGRAPHY:
Jon-Mykul Bowen (he/him) is a trained actor/singer/dancer based in New York. He has worked internationally in Musical Theater with Operation Triple Threat in Barbados. Notable roles include Grimsby (Disney's The Little Mermaid), the Escapologist & Sergei (Matilda The Musical), Adam (The Theory of Relativity),Tonton Julian (Once On This Island), and more. He recently graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts' conservatory program. At the academy, his mainstage credits include Jordan (That Poor Girl and How He Killed Her), Juliet's Nurse (Romeo and Juliet), Yakov (The Seagull). When he is not on stage, he can be found reading, writing, or dreaming. Seriously silly, professionally playful.

EDUCATION / TRAINING:
Associate's Degree from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts Full-Time Conservatory Program, receiving training for acting on-stage & on camera, Shakespeare, Musical Theater, and mask work. Acting tutors include: Timothy D. Stickney, George Hesselin, Susan Pilar, David Dean Bottrell, Nurit Monacelli, Christopher Halladay, Jennifer Mann.

SPECIAL SKILLS:
Dialects (IPA Proficient) - Barbadian, Dance (All Intermediate) - Ballet, Modern, Jazz, African. Trained in stage combat (armed and unarmed). Music Theory, Singing - Baritone, piano (Sightreading & Playing - Beginner to Intermediate), puppetry, archery (recreational),
