BIOGRAPHY:
Joely Zuker (she/her) - ASCAP, Maestra, Dramatists Guild - is a New York-based songwriter, composer/lyricist, bookwriter, director, and producer. She has completed programs such as New Musical Inc.'s CORE Curriculum and General workshops. She also received her Master of Arts in Writing & Design for Musical Theatre as part of the inaugural class from BerkleeNYC, where she developed her show, J.O.Y, in collaboration with Brandon Fillette. Her work has appeared at venues such as 54 Below, The Cutting Room, and Power Station studios and been accepted into contests and festivals such as the Equity Library Theater of New York’s Virtual Play Festival, Manhattan Repertory’s STORIES Film Festival, the Hollywood Fringe, and The Roundabout Theatre’s Reverb Theatre Arts Festival. She recently completed a residency at Drama Club Camp further developing her show, J.O.Y. Additionally, she’s written and scored songs for the Emmy-nominated animated show, Robot Chicken. @joelyzuker
