BIOGRAPHY:
Isabella Folchetti is a rising junior at Barnard College of Columbia University, deep diving into neuroscience and behavior, as well as abnormal psychology, with a possible concentration in linguistics (throughout her undergraduate academic career she has indulged in, and learned, the Swahili language, brushed up her skills in her native tongue (Spanish), and has begun learning yet another language - Gaelic, based on her pure, and likely unhealthy, obsession with Sharon Horgan’s Bad Sisters television series).
Be confused not, Isabella is not merely an academic, she is, also, a seasoned musical performer. Although Isabella indulged in a brief hiatus throughout the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, she has, nonetheless, managed to garner remarkable experience in musical theatre, general theatre, and on-camera acting. Most notably, Isabella performed as Ariel in The Little Mermaid (2018), Gabriella Montez in High School Musical (2019-2020), and Olive Ovtrovsky (2021-2022) in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. She was briefly signed with Robin Nassif (2021-2023), during which time she garnered experience (with) on-camera acting and on-camera auditioning. In the more recent past (2025), Isabella has performed as Maureen Johnson in Columbia Musical Theatre Society’s production of RENT (La Vie Boheme), as well as (as) Rosie in Treatment History (written by BC student Sophie Simmons and directed by BC alumna Miranda Paiz).
