BIOGRAPHY:
Director/Actress/Founder/Producer, Brown & Brown’s Productions
Has worked extensively as a director for the past 30 plus years. She directed, produced, and performed in various venues throughout the NY and NJ areas including Henry Street Settlement, Theatre 22, Cooper Square Theatre, The Paul Robeson Theatre, American Theater of Actors and 13th Street Theatre. She assisted in coordinating Jacqueline Wade’s Women of Color Festival which included Francine’s two original plays “Two Men Talk” and “Three Women Chat”. She has worked as an Artistic Consultant with Paul Robeson Theatre as well as an actress and director. Francine has worked as director with Klehotas Tshyre’s Spellbound Mystery Theatre (2020 and 2021) and directed several Zoom performances for his Reading Series including Karen Brown’s plays “ Late Night”, “Another Fine Mess” , “A Neighborly Presence”; Ave Maria Cross’s “ Portraits and Chandeliers” and Debbra Liverman’s “The Hagrider”. Francine originally directed “Love at the Diner” at Brooklyn’s South Oxford Space Theater. “I am very happy to be working with my sister Karen again as well as this incredible cast”.
EDUCATION / TRAINING:
Studied Acting, Voice and Dance at HB Studios in NYC.
