BIOGRAPHY:
Ethan Raysor, born and raised in Delaware, started dancing at the age of 14 and fell in love with ballet and theatre while attending Cab Calloway School of the Arts. After studying instrumental music theory, he decided quickly to pursue performance tracks. He began training with James Zynda at Delaware Dance Company, and started his professional career at 16. He joined First State Ballet Theatre upon graduating high school, and was a company member for 7 seasons. During his time with FSBT, he had the pleasure of a wide variety of Principal and Soloist roles in full-length productions of 'The Sleeping Beauty,' 'Swan Lake,' 'Don Quixote,' 'Romeo + Juliet,' 'A Midsummer Night's Dream,' 'Grand Pas Classique,' as well as the holiday favorite 'The Nutcracker.' Ethan is pursuing acting opportunities, both on film and on stage. In 2024, Ethan was eligible to join Actor’s Equity Association and is excited to be a part of an union for artists by artists. Most recently, he had the opportunity to be in 'Happy Gilmore 2,’ ‘Serena,’ and co-starring role “Jabril” in John Tedeschi’s feature film ‘Beget.’ He also performs in cabaret shows throughout NYC. In February of 2025, Ethan joined Rising Sun Performance Company and has since been cast in staged readings of upcoming productions of ‘Éléphant’ as “Jeunnehomme,” and ‘Radio Eulogy’ as “Sam/Travis.” He makes his New York Theatre Festival debut with Amber Weissert’s production of ‘Echo,’ as “Elder Alexander” and “ensemble” in June 2025.
