BIOGRAPHY:
Dan McCallion is an actor and comedian who’s performed across multiple platforms. Films he can be seen starring in include Wandering Off alongside Larisa Oleynik and Christina Brucato on Amazon Prime, GetMeThere, which won Best Comedy at the 2020 Top Indie Film Awards, and Deploy, which won multiple awards and screened at Cannes Film Festival’s Short Film Corner.
He most recently wrote original sketches and performed over the last two years in A Sketch of New York and in Social Weaponry as an Original Project with Real Actor’s Lab, Los Angeles. Other theater credits include Scheherazade at David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center, Romeo and Juliet as part of Teatro Filharmonico (broadcast on PBS), and Kenny Franks in Laughter on the 23rd Floor at Centerstage Playhouse in New York City.
He’s studied privately with Sarah Gaboury/Real Actor’s Lab (LA), as well as scene study with Brette Goldstein and stand-up under Clayton Fletcher. In addition, he’s a veteran of the standup circuit, with performances on numerous occasions at New York Comedy Club and The Producers Club(NYC), amongst others. A graduate of Drew University (NJ), he lives in Brooklyn.
