BIOGRAPHY:
Caitlin trained at the American Academy of Dramatic arts and is thrilled to be producing her first full length original work . Caitlin has performed in productions throughout the Tri-State Area including: The Importance of Being Ernest (Cecily), Cymbeline (Caius Lucius), Teach Me How to Die (Various), The After Dinner Joke (Dent), Sterling Renaissance Festival (Lord Mayor's Wife), Simon the Invisible Boy (swing). While attending Mount Holyoke College for a year, Caitlin had the privilege of performing "The Flood" from The Vagina Monologues. While writing Two Pink Lines, Caitlin thought back to this experience quite often. Caitlin is incredibly excited to be combining her two passions with this production. After going through her own pregnancy loss journey in 2019, Caitlin started writing Two Pink Lines in order to answer the question: Why does no one trust uterus- havers with their own reproductive journey? While doing research and interviews for this production Caitlin felt called to birth work, to make a difference in the room where it happens. Since becoming a DONA certified birth doula at the end of 2022, she has worked to bring the joy and love into every single Labor & Delivery room. "No one should feel infantilized as they become a parent."

EDUCATION / TRAINING:
American Academy of Dramatic Arts St. John's University
