BIOGRAPHY:
ARIEL BLUE is an actor, singer, and writer, based in Florida, and has been performing for the last 15 years in the US and overseas. Some memorable roles include: The Mountaintop, Dreamgirls, Ain't Misbehavin'; It Ain’t Nothing But The Blues; Avenue Q; Little Shop of Horrors; The Amen Corner; Love Sung in the Key of Aretha; All Shook Up; and Beehive: The Musical. Ariel is a well-known member of The Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe in Sarasota, FL. She was bitten by the acting bug in college, where she majored in Communication Studies and minored in Theatre Arts (Stetson University). In September 2019, Ariel launched her website and blog “The Blue Print,” which is a monthly, introspective blog that chronicles personal life lessons and features a themed music playlist. She’s also created several one-woman cabarets. In her free time, Ariel reads and spends time with her niece and nephew, and is a part of a writing group called R.A.D. “I’m just a vessel, serving up a smile at a time, using my unique brand of #BlackGirlMagic – it’s my purpose."
