BIOGRAPHY:
AMANDA SOFIA RODRIGUEZ (Artist) is a Puerto Rican student and performance artist who especially loves participating in new work development. When not performing, Amanda can be found caring for animals, crafting new hair and makeup looks, and trying matcha around the city. Select projects include A Lunar Rhapsody (Catalina, upcoming), The Threepenny Opera (Lucy), The Amethyst and the Peridot (Peridot), The House of Bernarda Alba (Amelia), and My Sweetest Baby Angel Princess (Steph). She is grateful for the opportunity to showcase this story alongside such a wonderful team of artists.
EDUCATION / TRAINING:
I am a senior at Fordham University studying Theatre Performance and Digital Technology and Emerging Media. I have also studied Devised Theatre at Bard Berlin, take dance classes at Broadway Dance Center, and vocal lessons with Mitchell Brownell.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Bilingual (English & Spanish), juggling, right/middle split, cartwheels, 9+ years of basketball.
