Blurb
Odysseus, but make it gay. Classics professor Oscar never planned to be a hero. Newly out after a five-year marriage, he navigates awkward Grindr hookups, brutal self-reflection, and a chaotic quest for identity—guided by his loyal best friend Penny, his razor-sharp mother, and a Narrator who insists on speaking in blank verse. A messy, mythic, Homer-erotic comedy about finding yourself.

Bio.
Anastas Varinos (he/him) is a playwright whose work blends satire, comedy, and a lovingly queer perspective. A graduate of NYU Tisch and now an adjunct instructor there, he is also an actor, dialect coach, and teacher—pursuits that continually inform his writing. Written works includes O: A New Odyssey and Baby Cow. He’s mostly just trying to get it all out.
