This musical follows the journeys of two women,Liberty & Justice, who relocate to New York in the 1900s seeking opportunity. One is a Caribbean immigrant who comes through Ellis Island, the
other a southern African-American. Both find refuge at the White Rose Home for Colored Working Girls,
a settlement house. Their shared dreams for more lead them to become involved in women’s rights & suffrage.

Bio.
Kathy D. Harrison is a multi-disciplined performing artist, composer, playwright, and director. She creates musical theater projects which integrate historical themes while highlighting untold stories from the African- American experience. A native of Detroit,past works include The Movement: An A Cappella Musical (2019 Winner NYTF), Southern Boys – Sons of Sharecroppers (2020 – Finalist NYTF)./p>
