It is March 2020 at Swood High School. Two directors of the drama club are informed that they have several minutes to gather their things and leave the school due to Covid-19. Their production of Once On This Island is inevitably postponed, and while one director is more practical and realistic, it is hard for the other director to not think of idealistic/creative solutions. It is a tender piece.
THIS PLAY IS 10 MINUTES LONG AND WILL BE PRESENTED IN THE SAME NIGHT/SHOW SLOT TOGETHER WITH ANOTHER 4 SHORT PLAYS
Playwright’s Bio.
Annie is a Theatre/English/Public Speaking and Debate teacher at Spotswood High School and Director of the Spotswood Troupers Drama Club. She has appeared Off-Broadway at The Players Theatre in NYC, and currently is working on writing a musical with a dear friend.
