A solo performance about the worst day of my life as a little Black girl growing up in the suburbs. From learning about racism to being “stuck at the table” because I refuse to finish my green beans, you receive a full recount of the day–told from my 6 year-old perspective.

Bio.
Brandi Nicole McLeain is an actor, wordsmith, and director based in NYC. Brandi currently holds a BFA in Theater Studies from Southern Methodist University (SMU). She recently made her NYC acting debut at the Lincoln Center with new play, “Dee & Di’s Beauty Shop,” by Bailey James. Brandi is ecstatic to be performing at her first festival in the Big Apple.
