Blurb
Gerald and Piggie play pretend, question what we can know, and confront Endings. They interrogate theatre, free will, comedy, and authenticity. They also say fuck. Based on characters by Mo Willems. Through setting up bits, getting into marital spats, and putting on a cooking show, Gerald and Piggie stretch the limits of the stage until it breaks. Then, they build something new with the pieces.
THIS SHOW IS 45 MINUTES LONG
THIS IS A ONE ACT PLAY THAT WILL BE PERFORMED WITH ANOTHER ONE ACT WITHIN A 90 MINUTE TIME SPAN
Bio.
Sabrina Caputo is an actor, playwright, music maker, and crochet artist based in Brooklyn, NY. They are a graduate of the Experimental Theatre Wing at NYU Tisch. ETW credits include Nine Studies for a Dance Opera and Hawkins in Men on Boats. Other favorite projects at NYU consist of The Reality Show at Radio City Music Hall and Offstage with Tisch New Theatre.
