Blurb
Coconuts follows two stranded strangers on a deserted island after a freak floaty accident on their cruise vacation. They must learn to deal with their isolation with the help of each other, their wits, and coconuts… lots and lots of coconuts. This comedy deals with relationships, fear of isolation, and survival.
THIS SHOW IS 45 MINUTES LONG
THIS IS A ONE ACT PLAY THAT WILL BE PERFORMED WITH ANOTHER ONE ACT WITHIN A 90 MINUTE TIME SPAN
Bio.
Andrew Del Vecchio recently graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with his MFA in Theatre and Performance where he was awarded the Stanley and Evelyn Lipkin Award for Excellence in Playwriting. He is a professional improv performer and teaching artist who is passionate about Mental Health Advocacy. He uses comedy as a way to express care and create safe spaces for people struggling with mental health and trauma. His goal is to create environments where people can experience joy and thrive.
