Blurb
Set in 1969, a young Vietnam Veteran returns home carrying the weight of shame and addiction. Rekindling his relationship with his high school sweetheart, he leads her down a path of co-dependency and addiction. Although his father has hopes for him to join his crime family, those wishes are dashed out once it is revealed how far gone his son is into his disease.
THIS IS A SHORT PRODUCTION THAT WILL BE PERFORMED ALONGSIDE ANOTHER 4 SHORT PRODUCTIONS WITHIN A 90-MINUTE TIME SPAN
Bio.
James Sylvester is an actor, writer, and producer. I has been acting since I was 15 . In 2025 James produced and acted in two short films which will be premiering at festivals in 2026. He is making his return to theatre after 4 years away making film. He is excited to share his work with audiences and have great admiration for the NY Theatre Festival.
