Blurb

Always is a one-act play that follows Catherine on the night of a big opening. As she prepares, visits from her family trigger memories of life-altering challenges, with her father there guiding her through them. The play explores the strength found in love, loss, & in the courage to continue.

THIS SHOW IS 45 MINUTES LONG

Bio.

Kendall (she/her) is a recent NYU Tisch graduate (Experimental Theatre Wing and the New Studio on Broadway). There, she wrote and produced Unsent Messages, exploring our relationships with the things we’ve left unsaid, as well as produced her first iteration of Always, which now premieres as a one-act at the New York Theatre Festival.

Bio.

Livy Mishima, (she/her) is an actor who loves to be on stage. Her credits include Frozen Jr. Lion King Jr., Addams Family Jr. and more. She would love to thank Kendall and everyone who is a part of this amazing production!

Mari Southgate, [she/her] is a young actor who loves performing in musical theater and on camera. She has appeared in short films and musicals, including her favorite show, Matilda. She’s excited to play Young Catherine in Always and bring this special story to life.

Xavier Burns, (He/him) is a Queens public middle school student who has performed in local (Unity Stage: Rooster/Annie), school (PS150Q: Harry McAfee/Bye Bye Birdie) and community (VLOG: Little Gaspard/Tale of Two Cities) theater. Thank you, cast & crew; family & friends!

Allicia Lawson, (They/She) is a Brooklyn based actor. Recent credits include :Sweeney Todd (Ensemble, Mrs. Lovett u/s), The Angel Makers (Maria, u/s Suzannah), A Tale Of Two Cities (Lucie Manette). Huge thank you to Kendall for this wonderful opportunity!

Cecelia Martin, (She/Her) is a proud member of St. Bart’s Players, recently seen in The Laramie Project and Simon Says. Always eager for new theatrical challenges, she is ecstatic to collaborate with Kendall on this inspiring Always journey.

Jaclyn Holliday, (she/they) is a Brooklyn based actor, musician, and musical improviser. Recent credits include Hayley Jones in The Girl with the Red Hair, #13 in The Wolves, and Emma Borden in Lizzie. Big thank you to Kendall for this beautiful and supportive process!

Nik Mucha, (he/him) is a recent NYU Tisch Drama graduate. Past productions include: Acan (Mojada) and Dolokhov (Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812). He hopes you enjoy the show and hug the ones you love.
