Blurb
Set in a 2016 middle school drama club, Margo is the first student to publicly come out. In a pitiful attempt to be “woke” her drama director is inspired to put on a production of Annie Jr, with Margo leading the cast as Mommy Warbucks. In combination with her closeted best friend and a surprising love interest, Margo manages to pull off an a surprise twist ending that shakes the community.

Bio.
Jill Saperstein (They/She/He) is a current student at NYU Tisch Drama’s New Studio on Broadway. Jill is an actor, singer, and writer with a passion for arranging acappella music. They proudly hail from New Jersey and care very deeply about themes of queerness, community, and not taking everything so seriously. Life is short, let’s laugh at ourselves a little.
