Victoria Carrington is a loving and attentive mother whose world is turned around when her neurodivergent daughter is cast as the “Wicked Witch of the East” (the shoes under the house) in her middle school’s production of The Wizard of Oz. This poignant and touching play examines the challenges, expectations, and complications of parenting, marriage, and middle school theatre.

Bio.
Playwright – April Lavalle (she/her) is a New York City-based writer, actor, and Tony Award-winning producer. She has several plays in development and co-authored two children’s books. Her acting credits include both Stage and TV roles, including working on projects for Netflix and HBO. She won a 2019 Tony Award as a producer of the Broadway musical Hadestown.
Bio.
Director – Brendan Stackhouse has worked on Broadway, off-Broadway, and regionally as a Director/ Choreographer. Recently, he was the Resident Director on the national tour of Les Miserables.
