On a particularly turbulent night at sea, North Star Cruises’ resident illusionist takes her typical stage to wow audiences once again with her tried and true tricks. However, a vocal skeptic in the audience doesn’t buy it. She goads him into letting her hypnotize him. And when she does, disaster strikes. How will these two fare when stranded together on a deserted island?

Bio.
Elliott McVeigh – Playwright
Elliott McVeigh was born in Tucson, Arizona and has taken every opportunity he can to perform since he was a young boy. This comes from a deep love for theatre, culminating in a bachelors degree in Theatre Arts. He has acted, written, directed, and taken on technical roles for a variety of shows back home. And now he’s excited to try it in the theatre capital of the world.

Derek Donnellan as Hank
Derek is originally from Boise Idaho, having moved to New York City in 2024. He has been studying acting for over a decade, falling in love with the art form at 12 years old after playing Lysander in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. He has had numerous roles in feature films, shorts, and a pilot episode.

Jennifer Martin as Mysteria
Jennifer is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York, where she moved from Kansas City in 2023 to pursue acting. She has trained at The Barrow Group and the Magnet Theater, and is honored to make her lead debut in Do As I Say. Offstage, Jennifer writes scripts, produces podcasts, and teaches yoga. She credits her meditation practice as the foundation of her creative work and focus.

Roberto Ragone as the Captain
A Bronx native, Roberto Ragone shifted from a career in government, policy, politics, and non- profits to his passion for the arts, as an actor, scriptwriter/doctor, producer, and advocate. Roberto has played lead and supporting roles on stage and screen in dramas and comedies. Roberto has written and performed in scripts to sold out audiences.

Art Bernal – Director
Art is an award winning director who has enjoyed over 44 years in various aspects of the entertainment industry. Some of the positions include cinema projectionist, radio station announcer and media technician. In 2017, Art was honored by being named as a resident director at the American Theatre of Actors under James Jennings (artistic director).
